The large kitchen has all modern appliances including a dishwasher and microwave oven. The electric oven and range is a reproduction of a old fashioned castiron and porcelain cook stove on polished nickel legs.A cast iron English fireplace framed with hand painted hummingbird tiles and an antique oak mantle sits in one corner of the kitchen. The ceiling is heavily embossed antique tin salvaged from the 1875 Door County courthouse. The floor of the kitchen and sunroom are recycled 75-year-old bowling lanes.
